A New Old LIfe

Hey There!
Since I have started my new old life, I figured it was time to begin until the end.  Hmm-sounds a little morbid but actually, as an old gal, I have begun a new life.  Not one to sit around and watch Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz or the Doctors, I left the road as a salesperson of Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines, Cancer Drugs and Oncology Diagnostics(now you know why I can't watch TV Doctors), and decided to go back to "school" to pursue a new career that I hope will last until I can work no more.
In the fall I will be pursuing a Certificate in Horticulture, and then a Certificate in Landscape Design in order to fulfill a lifelong passion with gardening and starting new gardens.  I have always loved digging in the dirt and am enamored with the beauty of flower combinations and growing vegetables.  Eventually, it would be great to see the two entwined into a gorgeous edible landscape.

In the meantime, I also have a little online Vintage Business on Etsy that actually took on a life of its own.  While I was out of work recovering from foot surgery and not wanting to watch those TV doctors(I was taking a break from doctors even then!) I started this little business selling Mid-Century and older serving and kitchen items.  There were a couple of articles of Vintage clothing and accessories that were mixed in, and these seem to garner more attention, so I added more!  And Voila! A change in focus from Kitchen to Clothing.  So, my old store-Tea at Three Vintage has become North Country Classics(hence the blog title).

Come along with me as I journey into a new old life of Vintage Hunting and Selling, Digging into new gardens, as well as a few side trips-maybe some hiking or X-C skiing?  You never know what the new day will bring for an old gal....

What you may find along the garden path
